I have spoken to Edvin and we are both ready to move on that front. I am currently speaking with the Sheriff regarding the assembly of a strike team, once he gets back to me on that I will move onto the implementation phase of the plan.

First, I am the War Master so if you wish to send a force to Calgary clear it with me so I can add it to my greater plans.
Also, the Sheriff is in charge of Red Deer's security and has nothing to do with the War outside the borders, so is it really wise to try to draw his attention and defense forces away?
If you can not get a force from your contacts with Cock Robyn or out East, I do have forces available, provided the gain is worth altering their orders and assuming they survive removing the Head Eaters from the Airport.

Erik, with the knowledge of where the Cardinal frequents, are you able to put together a plan to capture or destroy him? I may or may not have forces available to lend as I am going to be stretching them to their limits soon? Apologies brother Driscoll, but the information above lead me to the impression that your forces were tied up in other endeavors and that I would largely be on my own in this matter. Besides, I have heard rumors regarding these "Head Eaters" and I did not wish to interfere with their necessary elimination. The plan itself is simple. Should my attempt to establish a sympathetic link succeed, reconnaissance will be done and if possible a team of warriors will capture Rojas. Then we can interrogate him for information, and quite possibly blunt whatever attack they have planned on the 31st. As for pulling the Sheriff from the city, well I share your concerns brother believe me. Simply put, it is a calculated risk. I need warriors, and the sheriff can provide them. My contacts could perhaps provide warriors, but not within the incredibly short time-frame that we are working in. I think it is safe to say that we do not want to sit and wait for whatever the cardinal has planned. Our defenses get lowered for a few brief hours prior to the attack, and in exchange we may gain a greater tactical advantage in return. That being said, should your forces be available I can tell the Sheriff that he is no longer needed. |
