You got it all wrong my friends the primogen is the one who lasts the longest and the whip is runner up.
Joking aside the whip is known to the council cause he sat in place of Edvin at the very first meeting. I speak of myself but truthfully It a position any of us could hold and I don't care to cement my claim to it.

You know that's funny cuz I always though that the Primogen assigned the whip? In fact I had a chat with your Primogen and he didn't have the faintest clue why you were acting as whip in the March gathering?

Sorry Nara beat ya to the punch monkey I guess. Now if I were a Primogen at that meeting I might be somewhat annoyed that someone invited himself. Further I might be tempted to punish said person for imposing upon important city matters and borrowing the associated status of noble for the night?

It is a punishable offense I believe. Something the Harpy may want to take a look at. I believe the whip needs to declared before the meeting itself. Which.. I don't think happened.
