I would like to inform you Master Harpy, that I am very VERY Well aware of my standing in the court, and what status I do not and do have. I would also like to thank you to talk to me in PRIVATE rather then address me publicly. It is no secret I do not approve of you, or your methods, however you are an Elder and so out of RESPECT TO YOU, I adhere to your words, and your ways. Please do not mistake my kindness for weakness however, because I am not weak. I may be a neonate, but you cannot sit here and tell me you are perfect and not flawed at all. Remember that I know much about you, and I can bring that before the court should I wish to. This is not a threat, just to point out how kind I am. -Inara The kind Primogen of the Brujah is now attempting to privately threaten myself with fallacious information. It is my guess she will try to tie me to her sire's non-bid at praxis. Yes he did come to me, yes I did sell him information however whatever other lies and deceit she may attempt shall be laughable at best. Information trading is not against our customs nor is listening to another Elder whom held more prestation then myself at the time. Quite frankly until the domain of Red Deer starts to function like a proper Camarilla domain I shall be very heavy handed and extremely hardlined towards our Traditions and customs. I do not enjoy being threatened and do not wish to protract this disagreement any further but this neonate is stepping far outside her place and boundary. |

Please correct me if I am wrong, but Status is a public trait is it not? Primogen Inara was still claiming said Status in her "signature".
Losing such Status should be made public so everyone is aware, lest they assume that the Status is still in place. How is one supposed to treat someone with the proper deference (or disdain) if their Status is not known?
In fact, claiming such Status AFTER it no longer exists, should be something they are Warned for, which would, in this case, mean that Primogen Inara would be Disgraced.
Of course, as you know, I am not well-versed in Status, but that would be my interpretation.

Status is very public, it is the measure of your value to our society. I was attempting to clarify to Inara that she is traveling a slippery slope as she no longer has the Loyal status to defer any negative status levied against her or the Favored status to alleviate a negative standing against her. I was as my reputation states attempting to be fair and honest in my dealings with her trying to guide her back to a reasonable position before Primogen Driscoll was fed up and found Inara Vulgar as well. I would punish her further but I am hoping with this small display her behaviour can be corrected.

I of course, bow to your knowledge and wisdom in this matter. Just, as a Primogen, Ms. SHEPARD is, or should be, VERY aware that claiming Status AFTER it should have been removed is, in my opinion, a serious offense. Primogen are voices of their Clans, and should be held to greater standards.
I thank you for your service and attempts to bring propriety to this Court.
