Apprentice TORRENS:
I had some ideas to bounce off of you regarding some particularly fiendish conjuration measures we might take in preparation for the upcoming battle.
There are any number of compounds that are completely harmless on their own but explosive, flammable, or otherwise deadly when combined. If we create inert containers in strategic locations containing such substances with a neutral third substance separating the two, when required could you then dissolve the barrier allowing the substances to mix and react?
Or if we want to be even more proactive, we might simply ensure a similar substance, say one half of a compound explosive, is sprayed everywhere beforehand within a wide radius of Elysium under the guise of pest or weed control or whatever pretext we desire, thus ensuring that anyone traveling to attack the building that night will be liberally coated in said substance. Then when they pop their heads in the doorway, you turn the floor into the other half of that explosive and boom!
I'll have to do some further research into what possible substances we might require but I thought I'd get these out there while they were still fresh in my mind. Let me know what you think.

[OOC: Please make sure you have the appropriate Science Skill to be doing this...which I am sure that TORRENS has]

(OOC: my character has no Science dots whatsoever but has seen this work on Die Hard with a Vengeance and the first Robert Downey Jr. Sherlock Holmes movie. He merely proposes a similar measure, the actual mechanics of which to be left up to Apprentice TORRENS the chemistry superstar demigod.)
