I would like to advise you that several Toreador have left the city to seek shelter in the court of Edmonton during this time of strife. They include my coterie members Victoria Von Stein and Brynn Baricelli, as well as the neonate Michael De La Rosa. I also have it on good authority that both Clan Tremere and Nosferatu have made plans to abandon the city if things go badly, leaving the rest of us to die while they make their escape. As such you should not depend on them for any kind of backup if the tide of battle turns against us.

I am also very unhappy to report that the Malkavian prophetess Angeline Nicodemeus has predicted that the Sabbat shall be victorious in this coming battle, and that that they shall "bathe in the blood of the Prince". I know Angeline very well, and though she is occasionally off on the timing of her predictions, they are never inherently wrong.

Lastly, I would highly recommend that Caitiff Smithee not be allowed us. We already hold little enough influence in this city without risking the ire of the Prince's clan, to say nothing of Clan Brujah who hold virtually all of the court positions and despise Smithee for his dishonorable and duplicitous conduct. I would respectfully petition you to utilize boons to pay for the Caitiff's skills if necessary, but to keep our good names unstained by his reputation.
