The prince asked us to bring forth a sheriff.
I wish to nominate myself based on my combat skills, my social capabilities, and all I have and can offer the city. I have a vast wealth of resources and contacts as well as influences within red deer.
Ervin has been deemed compitant to hold ventrue primogency in my stead if chosen.
The prior sherrif and prince have also deemed my skills compitant on more than one occasion to have me step in and fill the position in the past as well.
This is also a position I have heard before in many cities prior to red deer.
I do also suggest we deal with this matter quickly.

That's a bit bold don't you think nominating 2 from a clan whom left the camarilla. Your entire clan is under a status ban and you with to take it from a true pillar clan? This should be entertaining to watch.

I actually have quite the different view on who I believe would make a good Sheriff in this town. Last evening, it seemed to me that the Keeper , Jack McVitie, did an excellent job at his job. In fact, he has since he was appointed. That being said, I feel that he would be better suited to not just serve Elysium, but rather to serve the city as a whole in the position of Sheriff. I know that he is rather capable of doing so, and I think he would be more then willing to do the job if presented to him.
As for who would then replace the Keeper, I believe that Vincent Torrens of clan Tremere would make a good choice for that. There have been many times where he has helped to keep Elysium safe, even if under the nose of other Kindred. The Prince himself has even asked Elder Torrens to take care of some matters of Elysium a handful of times.
These are just my personal thoughts on the matter.

I agree with your insight primogen Shepard, if jack is willing to take up the position of sheriff he will have the support of clan gangrel. If that is the case I will resign ma nominations and support primogen Shepard's nomination of Jack for sheriff and Vincent for Keeper.

Just so the rest of this council is aware, I have spoken to Jack on the matter, and he has agreed that should people support him to take up the position, he would willingly do so.

I too agree with Primogen Inara that Mr. McVITIE would make a most capable Sheriff and that Mr. TORRENS an excellent Keeper.
Primogen Gabriel, would you be willing to gracefully bow out so that the Primogen Council could say that it was a unanimous decision?
As Primogen Driscoll has said that he is indifferent, if Primogen LEPUS would agree as well, then it is an announcement that could be made.

This is truly a farce, none of you stick to your word, first you support one person than suddenly its not "cool" so you switch over. This is why neonates and ancillae never make good primogen. Even some of the elders are this way, I guess you can just tell who is young, and who is hiding things.

I have always personally had high reguard for McVitie and his capabilities.
If you wish people to "stick" to their word Gabriel.
In Camarilla terms and historically through Kindred society it is called "Paying or calling in a Boon".
Pay me a agreeable Boon upon yourself and you will have my vote.
