Okay, I know I'm just a neonate but it seems to me there's an elephant in the room that nobody's talking about.
A couple of months ago Prince Richtor said he was backing the Imperator, and seeing as Myrmidon Pickens is still in the city while Archon Berg isn't I'm guessing that's still the case.
Yeah, I've heard the whole "we're all on the same side" BS, but every kindred with two brain cells to rub together knows that there's cracks in the Ivory Tower and I think that the members of the court have a right to know how their Prince is aligning the city in the event that everything goes to hell between the two factions.
So can we get a clear, official statement on this, your Highness? Are you backing the Imperator, or have you switched to the Inner Circle?

I've been told by my Clan to stop asking questions, so never mind. I'll just ignore the coming shit storm and hope that everything turns out okay just like a good little peasant.

I have refrained from saying anything much on this issue for several reasons. The first is the war. We need stability in our city while we pursue this.
However, what I am about to say has no bearing on Inner-Circle or Imperator, we are all Camarilla either way.
When we come to a city we go before it's Prince and become Acknowledge by them to remain in the city (if we wish to stay) or are recognized and granted permission to remain as a visitor. By accepting this Acknowledgment we agree to follow the Princes leadership and we in turn accept that they are the ultimate power in the city, the holder of Domain.
No matter how the higher level politics work out we answer to the Prince, if we can not accept this, then there is nothing holding us from seeking another city with a Prince more to our liking.
It is good you question Imelda and seek clarification. Without knowledge we can not work to affect the changes we desire. But those changes must be done from within the system. So blatantly raising a challenge can be dangerous. You may have had more answers if you had approached the appropriate sources or if you had requested audience with an Elder or position holder so they could champion you and bring you forth to the Prince. You could then have requested or asked in a manner that is not begging for open conflict in the court.
For instance, were you to find a way to get your Primogen, the Harpy or another with Noble to grant you Acclaimed. This can be done by publically protecting the Masquerade, upholding the Traditions when they are in jeopardy or otherwise strengthening the Camarilla in a recognizable manner. You could have expended the Acclaimed Status to FORCE the Prince to give you an answer and his thoughts on the subject. Such is built into our status system.

Very well said, Primogen Driscol. Your wisdom, diplomacy and patience with the neonates do you great credit. Hopefully the Order of Montgomery can learn to work within the honored traditions of the Camarilla rather than continually trying to circumvent them.

We are all Camarilla, regardless of any political leanings. In times like this, such artificial divisions serve only to divide us, thus making us easier targets for the Sabbat.
However you feel upon this matter, it can wait until Cardinal Strathcona's head is on a pike.

I would also like to remind you WE ARE AT WAR and this is not the time or place to be causing problems amongst fellow Kindred of Red Deer. We need to stand beside them or we will fall to the Sabbat of Calgary. I know you have concerns Imelda and I know you want answers but put this Issue on the back burner till we deal with Calgary.
If you need some one to talk to someone about these Questions you have Imelda you can always ask me in person or through a message on here. I will give you what advice I can.
