Status is a difficult thing to portray. It is difficult to know what Status people hold. Status is a measure of how a Vampire is seen in Camarilla Society.
If we don't know someone's Status then it is very difficult to deal with people properly.
For example, if I do not know that you are Favoured or an Elder then it is difficult to fault me for disrespecting you. Of course, ignorance is no excuse. Because I don't know who someone is or who backs them means I disrespect them at my own peril.
That being said, it should be easier to determine who has what Status.
I would propose that people list their Status in their signature lines. This will help define the social structure, and allow people to react to Status appropriately.
It will also help the Harpy in her role. She won't need to ask people what their Status is, she can see it instantly.
Just a thought.

I concur with this idea. For very much the same reasons.

I actually don't think I've seen a signature line in this forum yet. I don't see why not. Clan is handled, maybe age group and notable positions as well? Little things that are pretty obvious. I know both of those can be deduced from what status they hold as well, but those without encyclopedic knowledge of status could use the help, hehe.

The Signature Line I was referring to is listed in the Profile section.
Your Sginature reads "I been sane a long time now, and change is good."
Whatever you want to call that line, it is at the bottom of every post. A good spot to put the Status.

Apparently the mobile page doesnt show them. I remember setting the signature when you mentioned mine, but had to get home and jump on the PC to see it. inconvenient, but yeah, i still like the concept. I'll go change mine now.

Well, no it's not like a whole different page, it's just that when viewing this board on a phone or mobile device it makes certain adjustments to fit the (usually) much smaller screen, format the text, etc. For example, you see that there are new posts in a given section but not what they are or who made them, you have to actually click on the section and enter if you really want to know. At any rate, any website worth its salt these days has to do this or lose all the kids on their fancy phones.
