In a stunning press release local RCMP Chief Insp. Scott Tod has announced that they have captured the escaped terrorist who goes by the name Aabzaari Dyab. This journalist has learned that the recent terrorist attacks were planned by Aabzaari Dyab. A Canadian citizen that had chosen to betray his country for radical Islam. According to police sources once captured a false passport was recovered showing that he had been traveling not just abroad but had traveled to Pakistan over two decades ago. It is believed that it was during this initial trip that he was approached and recruited by the then strong Taliban. Further digging has shown a number of aliases with both Italian and Russian mob connections, illegal arms deals that appear to be financed the terrorist funded organizations. In a dramatic showdown in the streets of Red Deer on April 1 the joke was on Aabzaari not it's citizens. Due to a publication ban issued by the courts we have been unable to disclose many details until Aabzaari was captured. Let us provide a little back history. Over the last 15 months Red Deer has seen a dramatic increase in violent weapons related crimes. Military hardware including armed drones have found their way to the streets. We have seen the incursion of terrorists and what equates to one of the largest gang wars in Canadian and even North American history as everyone fought it out for control. Why Red Deer, the answer to the initial reasons are still not entirely clear though it is suspected that it was more a coincidental circumstance with to many hostile groups finding themselves in the same place at the wrong time. Perhaps it was that Red Deer was within easy striking distance of both Edmonton and Calgary with a low security Airport that allowed for the importing and exporting of military hardware and a jumping point to the oil sands, BC and Eastern Canada. The police do report that they hope to gain more information as they continue to question Aabzaari. Greggor Zakharov, someone who was "known" to police sources prior to his disappearance 6 months ago was a known Russian mob associate and suspected supplier of small and medium arms to the gangs in Alberta, though the Police could never gain enough evidence to arrest him. With the placement of some small terrorist cells things began to heat up. Local Bike gangs discovered these cells and went on a mission to "clean up the trash". One thing about such groups, at least they are patriotic. The resulting hits and attacks brought retaliation. But not having been involved in Red Deer much the terrorist cells ended up striking the wrong targets and infuriating the Russian's. And so forth ending with Red Deer in an all out war between terrorists, organized crime and law enforcement. What has been learned so far is that Aabzaari as a now high ranking Taliban member saw both opportunity and profit. Bringing in heavier and heavier military hardware and selling to each side he gained a small fortune which he in turn used to help fund several Taliban attacks around the world. It is assumed that Greggor took some offence to the infringement on his business and was taken out when he tried and failed to kill the interloper Aabzaari.

The manhunt for the terrorist mastermind and weapons dealer Aabzaari Dyab has come to an end. In a spectacular battle through the streets of Red Deer on April 1st several terrorist cells were drawn out and neutralized. It is reported that events began on the morning of April 1st with the arrest of a small time arms dealer that had been arrested and brought in. In haste he quickly struck a deal providing information about two sleeper cells he knew about in Red Deer, one that was planning an attack on Edmonton and the Other on Calgary. When asked for details tactical squad leader Adam Badari said: The information proved to be no joke and that it was through quick decisive action of the Red Deer city, county and Lacombe police services that disaster was averted. Though a borrowed helicopter from Blackfalds and one civilian pilot was killed, there were no other civilian casualties. Bomb squad specialist John Sorenson reports that his until was called in to disarm several vasts, briefcase and cleverly disguised bombs. Police chief Insp. Scott Tod: The terrorists were alerted through a military level scanner and decryptor that the two locations were being surrounded in coordination for a double assault and fled their havens before the noose fully closed. The resulting events took to the streets with snipers having to shoot several of the terrorists before they could reach somewhere and detonate their vests causing civilian and law enforcement casualties. Reporter: And what of the reports of the helicopter that was shot down. How did the terrorists accomplish this? Chief: Over the last several years it has been discovered that the Red Deer Airport has been used to bring in Massive military hardware. It was a Rusian made hand help missile that brought the Helicopter, pilot and officer down. Reporter: So it is due to the inability of Red Deer RCMP and Airport security that we have faced such devistating attacks on our citizens? Chief: I only have on final comment. Aabzaari Dyab though having initially escaped in the confusion is now in custody. We and doing everything we can to learn what he knows. The chief turns and re-enters the police station.

Red Deer Professor Albert Hart a Professor on Islamic Religion and Radicalization. It is a shame that we see such dramatic events unfold around us. As in Brussels and the Ivory coast terrorists can strike anywhere. From what the police and reports seem to be piecing together Red Deer became a hotspot for international terrorist attention. The initial reporting over a year ago were of Isis then followed by a small resurgence of Al qaeda and finally culminating with the Taliban. In my opinion Red Deer became a piece in their chess board for recruiting. When Isis failed in their initial attempts word got out, Al qaeda having fallen to the wayside thought to show they were superior but then failed in their own attempts. What it boils down to is that Red Deer became the game piece that no one could take. And successfully taking it would show superiority over the other groups competing for the same recruits.

Thanks to information discovered in the West Park safe house, information on several c-cans and their nefarious uses has lead Red Deer RCMP to execute search warrants. Though tallies are still coming in the police have so far seized the makings for dozens of homemade explosives, vests similar to those confiscated in West Park and Eastview, steel and lead bearings. In addition rockets, detonators, machine guns, sniper rifles, all manner of weaponry you can imagine. Even a few military grade drones have been discovered. After meticulous documenting, the discoveries have been shipped off to a undisclosed military base for further inspection and processing. (on an inside page) As this Reportive Journalist discovers the explosion that brought down the Red Deer bus terminal downtown was not a simple accident as initially reported. Undisclosed sources both among the police, fire and construction company have confirmed that the quantity of professional grade explosives used bring the building down were far less than reported. One senior executive has insinuated that there was a break in at one of their storage facilities and many Kilograms of explosives went missing. The explosion at the parking garage was just a convenient way to cover their proverbial asses. But if this is the case then why was the station targeted? Through much research and digging it has been learned that there were two bodies recovered from the wreckage of the garage. And that to further complicate matters they were hijacked on route to the coroners office for identification and autopsy. Events right out of a movie. But to carry on that theme, just who were these two stiffs that were so important. Why were they stolen? Why indeed. But according to one Hell's Angels member a gun runner named Greggor Zakharov had gone to ground due to competition. There was a very high priced hit out on him and his secretary. So again why were they taken? Perhaps as evidence for collection on a Million dollar bounty.

From multiple outlets: Initial forensic tests are coming back showing that residue taken from the remains of the exploded terrorists match the chemical composition of the explosives used in the Downtown Red Deer parking Garage/Bus station explosion.
Ballistic tests show that in the C-Cans several guns have been found matching both caliber and striations of the rounds recovered from the Sheraton. In a hot tip a rental house has been raided in Bower. Almost 1kg of Methamphetamine's along with near 50 Marijuana plants has been ceased. In an unexpected turn of events a spent shoulder held Russian missile launcher was found under some old tarps in the garden shed. The launcher is currently being sent for testing and confirmation that it was used in the Highway assault almost 1 year ago.
More homemade modified drones utilizing hand held chain guns have been found in Riverside Industrial Park. An unused warehouse bay that was being used as a chop shop. This very same unit was once suspected to house the terrorist known as Ulf Thorgilson. The discovery of a secret tunnel under the service pit has led investigators to several partially built drones and several cases of chain gun ammunition matching both the shells and slugs retrieved from the alleyways of beside the Windsor Hotel. In all this chaos, terrorist activity and organized crime wars we can report that the investigation into the Pita Pit Explosion is now officially closed. Investigators show that the shifting of ground in near by construction led to a crack in a natural gas line. The gas following a slight space along the pipe that had come into being over the years due to water erosion led to a small sinkhole next to the foundations of the Pita Pit. A discharge from the buildings grounding strip set the pocket of gas alight causing the explosions that decimated the building.
