I know we are seeking to acquire the top 3 floors of checkmate courts. But perhaps we should seek from the Prince as the old courthouse is sort of a floating location now sort of in the hands of Inara.
Maybe we should seek to take control of this and restore and elevate it to true Ellysium status in every sense. Art Galleries, Ball rooms and other hoopla. Then gift it to the city under Ventru protection as an Ellysium for the prestige it would bring us.
Should it ever be breached or attacked I would personally set the match the burns it down or insist on permanent punishment to the transgressor.
We could then still put together the Non-Ellysium gathering place of Checkmate courts where we would hold Domain?
