Kindred of the Court of Red Deer,
Today we discuss Pentex. As you can see, I have attached a poll to this forum post. This is so we may see the cities standings on the matter of Pentex.
As we all know, Pentex is a mega-corporation that boils down to a bunch of crazy scientists and kindred using evil spirits to hunt down and destroy the Garou. They have done this for us within the Domain of Red Deer.
Driven from the cities borders, driven from Central Alberta.
There are Merits to having Pentex within the city. Their facilities may be useful to the right kindred who is ambitious enough to start getting control over the local company.
Merits
-Killed or drove off all the Garou
-Removed all the Anarchs from our domain
-Covered up the potential masquerade breach in ex-Prince Windsor's medical facility.
-Claims to have covered up the masquerade breach at the downtown parking garage.
Flaws
-Uses a lot of bane spirits
-obsessed with power and control
-Wiped out allies and enemies alike without discrimination.
-Evil Megacorp who is out for power and control.
Give a good argument, as I will be closing the polls on the 22nd. Whichever way the vote leans is how the city will deal with Pentex.

My personal views.
We are Camarilla. That means we should not be making messes that need cleaning up and when they do happen we take care of it our-self.
They wiped out enemies we couldn't... Says something about our security if they want more power.
Their very existence is a breach of the Masquerade since there are mortals among them who know of our existence.
They know enough about us to use our laws against us.
The Sabbat can bypass blood bonds so why assume that these Independent Kindred along with their scientists haven't learned how to.
Bane spirits? What do we know about these? Any Giovanni around? A tool we have no defense or knowledge of.
Here is my point.
They know what we are capable of and they are capable of the same things.
We have no idea what they can do and con not do it ourselves.
Their Mortals know about us but are not bound by our traditions.
They have no compunction killing and destroying Cainites or other supernaturals and they have shown they are very capable of doing so.
They have re-located some highly dangerous stuff from the previous Princes Haven and are probably studying it as we speak. For all we know they set up the raid themselves.
They removed the Anarchs from Red Deer? What are they themselves if not a independent power hungry group seeking control over others?
Viruses and such are not a breach of the Masquerade in of themselves. Finding a hidden lab is not a breach of the masquerade. Just damn inconvenient at how you point the governments and disease controls eyes elsewhere. So unless there was a flayed living vampire in his basement how exactly did they protect the masquerade? Seems they benefited by getting their hands on something they did not have access to before.
But, it is your Domain and if you grant the Kindred among them permission to be here then that is your choice. If you order us not to mess with their company again we shall follow as that is your right.
If they are to stay ALL the Kindred with them or that comes or goes must report to you by Law. The mortals, well watch, learn, spend the time to understand them. Kidnap them if need be and rip their minds apart to learn the truth. But as they are not Camarilla never trust them or believe we have control over them. We know not what they can do.
I highly doubt with all everyone has said that they do not KNOW one of theirs is apparently bound to one of ours. If we knew one of ours was bound to one of theirs we would do something about it or use it to our benefit. Do not underestimate anyone who knows of supernaturals and still lives.

They are outside of your control, yet within your Domain, Father. If they were capable of dealing with threats the Court could not, then they are capable of eliminating the Court should they decide to do so.
The longer we allow their presence, the easier it will be for them to strike. How do we know they haven't already done so? Well-informed hunters and Red Listed Criminals bark at the gates.
We should remove these cuiters from your Domain, and restore it to glory Father. Before it's too late.

I say they have done their part as far as i hear, i have not been in the city long but i do think in my humble opinion that they wait in their own shadows to be finally rid of us as well. The werewolves have been take care of and that being said our boards should be more protected with traps and such ready in case the werewolves return and not have to deal with their invasion again. At this point i think its time pentex left, we are what is left as a threat to them I am sure they are plotting something.
