Greetings Kindred of Red Deer. In an effort to streamline things and understandings I have decided that I will post some of my interpretations here. As with everything in the Camarilla nothing is ever set in stone. And in the modern world we now live in times and interpretations can change with a well reasoned argument.
Keep in mind I am the ultimate judge of how such things will be interpreted within Red Deer while I remain Harpy, should I be replaced then it will be up to the next one to determine how they wish to interpret and do things.
For my part this is how I am currently interpreting things. Feel free to discuss this with me either here or at gather as I am open to new ideas and thoughts about how things should be viewed and willing to clarify if there is something you do not understand. However, keep such discussions civil, rudeness and insults will NOT be tolerated.
Let us start with Status
Status
If you have spent an Abiding Status it refreshes at the start of a gathering. It is the responsibility of each member of the Camarilla, and even more so myself as Harpy, to ensure that no one is in violation of the Status rules.
If you have status from multiple abiding sources, you MUST report to me, the Harpy, when you arrive at gather. This will ensure that I will enforce the status you are claiming and using that evening.
After gather you may choose to retain the status you had at gather until the next one or you may choose to change it up (within 1 week of gather) and use the status from the other abiding source. If this is the case then it must be reported to me so that I may properly ensure your rights.
What this means. You choose what status you want to have at gather and you choose what status you wish to hold between gathers, it does not flip flop on a daily basis. Kindred must know to which person/position they are dealing with.
When you are granted Fleeting status from anyone you must report it to myself (the Harpy).
Who granted it to you, What status did they use to do so, When and the reason why.
Status is a commonly known thing in the Camarilla, it is not hard to learn what status someone has, what they got t for and who gave it to them and when. If I can not confirm any portion of the details with the Camarilla abroad then that status will NOT exist in Red Deer until all details can be confirmed.
I have spent many boons and owe many debts and have traveled to many countries and cities to have confirmed the status that is currently in town. Thus ensuring you receive the proper respect that is your due. So reporting accurately is a reasonable request.
Also, when granting fleeting status consider what it represents and why someone would hold it. Granting status to someone who does not deserve it or failing to uphold it will cause it not to be recognized.
Granting someone status is to put your name behind them. If someone who holds your favour commits a crime do not be surprised if you get punished also as you have put your status behind them saying you support what they do. Same with granting Loyal to someone, if they are deemed very unloyal it might reflect upon yourself.
