Rick, we have in the past discussed where Clan Nosferatu is to stand in the higher politics of Inner-Circle and Imperator. For the most part we as Nosferatu should be neutral, profiting as we have for centuries. I have left the thread up in which we discussed this for your perusal.
But back to talk of knowledge that may one day show us some profit.
NGAR gave us the following assessment of the standing of Kindred in the City. I have modified this slightly based on our discussions and recent observations at gather.
Hardcore Inner Circle Supporters: Barbara Windsor, Kaspar Alsergrund, Elijah Windsor,
Antionette Villareal, Angeline Nicodemeus, Victoria Von Stein, Vanessa Le Tourneau (Rubba Damma) - They all seem very strong supporters of the Inner Circle. Antionette was very vocal about this during the Brujah meetings.
Jean-Luc Marchand - He seeks strength and order in this city. From what I have been able to gather from discussions and overhearing him with Windsor he does not see this as possible through the Imperator.
Imelda Jacobs - I have recently learned some information that would place Imelda as a hardcore Inner-circle supporter. This is to be kept in utter confidence. What I have learned suggests that she is perhaps working as a spy to gain a foot hold in the opposing camp. Perhaps this ties into her disappearance.
Inner Circle Sympathizers: Michael De La Rosa, Malcolm Mulridge
Brynn Baricelli (Rubba Damma) - Brynn is the cross between hardcore Inner-circle and sympathizer because of her coterie, her desire to be in the Camarilla but also holding back a little due to me just having helped her come over from the Anarchs
Diana Wolfsblane, Jaquline Leblanc,
Hess (more hardcore than sympathizer)
Hardcore Imperator Supporters: Samuel Pickens
Imperator Sympathizers: Albus Lepus, Empress Madness, Vincent Torrens, Vladamir Riddle, Sophia Wolff, Xavier Wolff,
Jack Mcvitie - Jack when discussing this very thing with his Clan was definately a Imperator sympathizer. He see's the Sabbat as being at it's weakest point in history. Since the Imperator's job title is to fight the SAbbat he automatically attributes it to the Imperator. He has been on forays with Pickens so has grown some camaraderie as fighting men do. He is not very insightful or analytical, he does not look into the why's or stances or other dealings, just the simple straight out's. The Imperator's job is to fight Sabbat. This is good so Imperator is good. He does not really consider the Politics beyond this. That said, he is also not a staunch Imperator supporter. He would swing what ever way most others go. I do not feel his believe is enough to put his life on the line for this cause.
Leaning towards Inner Circle but could go either way.
Inara - Very vague when discussing her leanings.
Mack - My discussions with him make me feel that he is leaning more towards Inner-Circle than Imperator. After my discussions with Diana a few gathers ago about stepping out of Picken's shadow and deciding for herself what is best for the local Gangrel. That Pickens is not of this city and she is Primogen and should decide what SHE feels is best for the gangrel, she seems to be maneuvering the Clan away from Pickens. Diana herself seems to be a Inner-Circle Sympathizer but Mack I think is more Neutral with a slight bent towards Inner-Circle.
UNKNOWN or Neutral
Prince Robert Richtor - I can get no real read on him. I feel he has been doing whatever was politically expedient to get into power and to maintain it and get past some past fumbling. I think he would swing whichever way most of his court pulled him. BUT, he obviously has a tight alliance with Pickens and depends on him to help hold him in power. This makes him lean more to the Imperators side.
Cribbs - Who knows.
Gabriel - I think Gabriel is more out for personal power and will go anyway that offers him power or the chance to further one of his many vendettas.
James Dunwhich - I do not think he really leans one way or the other. He has fought with Pickens but is beginning to see the value of making something of himself on his own here. He seems to be stepping away from the Imperator and moving more towards neutrality.
Ronan Fitzgerald - I did not feel that Ronan took one side over the other when the Brujah discussed this issue.
Kyle Candle - I don't think he is very capable of much beyond his babblings that I am told verge on heresy, and his books.
There is also the new Tremere and Ventrue? I have had little interaction with them as yet and their names currently slip my grasp.
Has anyone else learned anything new? anything that will help us solidify Kindred's standing or bring new light to what I have added?
