My apologies, Primogen Shepard, I was called away on urgent business before the conclusion of our last gathering. Has there been further loss in the court? Did someone else meet the Final Death after my departure? If so, that is dire news indeed and now more than ever, we must focus our efforts and stand united against the real dangers that lurk in the night.

No no, nothing like that. I just wish for the kindred of the court to keep something in mind. We are stronger when we stand together. Cardinal Strathcona no doubt knows of the goings on in court. People gossip all the time, and it is no secret that our court has been known to be rather unstable in recent times.
The Sabbat know that we are not united, and they use this to pit us against each other. To weaken the ties that bind.
Their most holy day is quickly approaching, and should we not be able to be united as a court, terrible things can and will happen. The time has come for us to put aside our quarrels and work together, and to do that, all must be willing to work together. If only to stop the Sabbat from winning. This is no longer something that can be put aside and focused on later. This is something that needs to happen now. If not now, never, and we will be horribly destroyed.
